Noah Perin Invited as Speaker at Devex ‘Prescription for Progress: Bringing Health Solutions to Scale’ Conference in February 2020.
VIA’s CEO, Noah Perin, will be joining a list of thought leaders in the health industry at the Devex ‘Prescription for Progress: Bringing Health Solutions to Scale’ conference on February 20, 2020 in San Francisco, representing the often overlooked but critical role of sales and distribution in the expansion of health equipment and solutions globally.
Devex touts the event by saying that “Innovations are transforming the way healthcare is delivered, but half of the world’s population still doesn’t have access to the essential health services they need. At Devex, we focus on the global development community, and our coverage includes efforts to leverage the technological and financial capability of Silicon Valley to advance global health. This February, Devex is pleased to present our second Bay Area event designed to address the practical hurdles associated with bringing global health innovations to scale and strengthening health systems.”
Noah Perin is thrilled to see the increased focus on distribution that VIA Global Health has brought to the forefront of the global health industry, identifying the biggest impediment to scale and working to solve that through an innovative and disruptive platform of technology and customer services that acknowledge and address the real challenges directly instead of disregarding them.
“We love the title of this conference as we believe the focus on scale is a critical one, but we also know first-hand that scale isn’t simply bringing an innovative health technology to market – it is about bringing it to market in a relevant, well-thought-out, fully-prepared, respectful and appropriate manner. Distribution has its critical role, as do all of VIA’s services, but first and foremost the preparedness to enter the market on the part of innovators of health technologies is paramount for a successful launch, scale and impact.”
VIA Global Health has been working for five years to address the global health distribution challenges, but has recently received support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to further augment distribution of health technologies throughout Africa.
