VIA Global Health Has Positively Impacted Over 500,000 Lives
VIA Global Health exists to bring universal access to critical medical technologies for underserved communities, and the company has now just passed an important milestone in that vision – positively impacting the lives of over 500,000 patients.
This milestone was achieved through the delivery of thousands medical supplies to 53 different countries (including 25 African, 8 Asian and 14 Latin America & Caribbean countries) most of which have limited access to quality health tools, leading to decreased quality of care. All impact numbers are based on industry citations for potential lifecycle or patient impact of each individual device.
“This is just the beginning,” said VIA Global Health CEO Noah Perin. “Over the last several years VIA’s impact has achieved exponential growth as the company continues to bring affordable, appropriate care to the 5.8 billion people in need. We plan to positively impact millions more lives in just the next year, and we are thrilled to be reinventing an outdated and misrepresentative global health model by supporting and building local businesses while developing localized, sustainable distribution channels.”
VIA Global Health is reinventing the global healthcare supply chain with a vision to scale health innovation to the 6 billion people living in emerging economies. Leveraging our e-commerce and logistics platform, VIA connects global healthcare equipment suppliers to a network of verified local distributors – with a mission to create universal access to the tools that enable quality healthcare.
