The Cady Blood Collection Tube - EDTA K2 is a sterile single-use evacuated blood collection tube used for routine Complete Blood Count in clinical haematology. It offers comprehensive protection for platelets. K2 EDTA salts are used as anticoagulants that inhibit the blood specimen by binding to the calcium to protect the blood platelets for effective test analysis. EDTA salts preserve test samples for up to 24 hours.
