The Cady Blood Collection Tube - Lithium Heparin is a sterile single-use evacuated blood collection tube used for routine analyses for either plasma or whole blood in clinical chemistry and blood rheology. The anticoagulant heparin activates the anti-thrombin thus blocking the coagulation cascade and producing whole blood plasma. No effect on metabolites.
