Key Features
Design
The Impala Ventilator is portable, which makes it suitable for use in emergencies or intensive care wards. Designed with a built-in battery for 4 hours of backup power. Further, the Impala has an easy-to-use touch screen, and no time restriction on use due to the gas tank limitation.
Effective
Impala ventilator features electronic mixing for easy, independent adjustment of flow rate and FiO2. It also has ACV, SIMV and CPAP modes, and controlled target PIP and consistent PEEP.
Compatible
Impala combines a compact, quiet, and easy-to-operate technology with precise control of gas flow delivery and oxygen concentration. For added patient safety, Impala incorporates a full complement of alarms.
Cost Efficient
Impala combines proven clinical effectiveness in respiratory care and low cost consumables with exceptional value.

FAQ
How do I calibrate the Impala Ventilator?
To correctly set up and calibrate the Impala, the device needs to be connected to test lungs. If the customer’s facility does not have test lungs available on hand, they are available for purchase as an accessory to the Impala and can be reused multiple times for other respiratory devices as well.
What type of flow sensor is used and is it included with the purchase? Is the flow sensor reusable?
One Hamilton flow sensor is included in the reusable breathing circuit set provided with each device. The flow sensor is reusable. Refer to the Reprocessing Guide in the Product Documents section for information on disinfection and sterilization.
